We are a locally owned and operated business. Kim and Connie purchased “The Bait Store,” as locals call it, in 2017. In 2021, they decided to add a permanent site campground and added 20 campsites behind the store. Kim, or Brownie, is often found checking minnows and running errands while Connie, or Krazy Connie, is often found cooking up scrumptious food in the tiny kitchen!

You will find a wonderful community of campers here at the lake! Located directly across from Rathbun Lake and quick access to a boat ramp. The store offers a wide variety of bait, lures, fishing gear, boating supplies, camping supplies, snacks, drinks, ice, wood, and gas. Many days you will find Rachel and her girls running in and out of the store or working to help Connie in the store and kitchen. We love being a family run business and creating a family style community!
